JOHNSON: “They want one unicameral body, the House, to run everything. Why? Because they’ve evaluated over two or three cycles they’ll elect enough Marxists to be able to take over the means of production. That’s what Marxism leads to: human suffering, misery, famine, and death. Communism has been the reason that tens of millions of innocent people are killed in the 20th century alone."
SORKIN: "I’m going to defend — I’m not going to defend some of the people on the far-left who have made some of those comments — "
JOHNSON: "Because they can't be defended. Yeah."
SORKIN: "But to suggest that the entire party wants that may be too much. You agree with that? You have friends that are Democrats."
JOHNSON: "Yeah. I’ve got friends who are Democrats and they’re being run out of the party because it’s being taken over.”
