KEAN JR.: “But I think what we need to have as a focus as well is making sure that there's more communications, not less, between each level of government. Because one of the things we did learn from the 9/11 report, that he was the chairman of that entity, was we need more information sharing, not less. So when a person is put in any detention facility, and the fact that they may be violent criminals with background, when they came across an unsecure southern border under Joe Biden, there are people who are making our streets less safe. And we need more coordination, not less. And so what my focus would be is, yes, there should be an appropriate remuneration if you can find that you were wrongfully detained, but you also need to make sure that our federal government and our state government are actually communicating.”
