MS NOW’s W.H. Reporter: The President Is ‘Taking Away the Rights of the Press’ to Cover Him

‘It felt like it came out of the blue’

EXCERPT:

BARRON-LOPEZ: "The ban on the Associated Press from the Oval Office, from different parts of the — of the White House, what they did to the Pentagon press, the fact that they tried to ban the entire Pentagon press, then were ordered by a judge to be readmitted but now with escorts, you could argue that maybe the press solidarity should have been there earlier. Because now the president is going full-bore. He is attempting to weaken as much as possible the First Amendment and to take away the right of the press to be inside the White House and in different areas of the White House. And that is continuing, and it isn’t over just because we regained our access on Thursday."
