Marc Elias: ‘We Are in More Than 90 Courts in 43 States’ Fighting for ‘Free and Fair Elections’

ELIAS: "Yeah. So, so three things. Number one, they need to understand that there are people who are fighting for them, okay? They are not on their own. It may be that the largest law firms have stood aside and are not fighting for you. It may be that the largest corporations are not are not fighting for you, but there are lawyers like me and my law firm that are every day litigating. Right now we are in more than 90 courts in 43 states, fighting for free and fair elections. And we will that number will grow. There are organizations like democracy forward that brought this lawsuit, the board of which I chair, that will not give up and not protect you. Number two, you know, you have a role to play, which is to make sure you are registered to vote, check that registration. It’s easy to do, and then have a plan to vote to make sure that you know how, what the rules are to voting and how you’re going to do it, and to vote with that plan. And then finally, Jen, you know, you reach an entire an enormous audience of hundreds of thousands or millions of people every night. Not everyone has your platform, but everyone has a platform.”
