Yes, Kristi Noem was clearly in over her head and accordingly fired but we had a massive failure in the government and lieutenant government’s governor’s office as well. They told our local police, whom I spoke to, I spoke to police leadership in both St. Paul and Minneapolis and they told me in no uncertain terms, they were told to stand down. They weren’t allowed to protect anyone. Not the immigrants. Not the bystanders, not the protestors and not ICE This was a failure at every level and I will mention since Tom Homan showed up this has really settled down. Police leadership here, and by the way, I’ve been endorsed by the Minnesota police officers association, they enjoy working with Tom Homan. They have a very good relationship.”
