Sen. Blackburn Slams Dems for Refusing to Participate in Women’s Sports Hearing

BLACKBURN: “Well, Harris, the thing that was shocking to me is they know that they are so wrong on this. They didn’t even call a witness. They did not ask any questions. They did not try to validate their position. They just did not show up. And as you said, you’ve got north of 80 percent, nearly 90 percent of all Americans say girl sports are for girls, boy sports are for boys. They did not want to come and discuss my Title IX Clarification Act, which would put in federal law the biological definition of a female for female sports and a male for male sports. So they just did not show up. It is so disrespectful of the 3 million high school and college female athletes that they would not even show up to have a discussion. How do we protect them? How do we make certain that sports are safe? How do we keep boys out of girls’ private spaces? They didn’t even come.”
