Sen. Blumenthal Says CNN, MS Now and Politico ‘Will Prevail’ After President Blocked Their Access to the White House

BLUMENTHAL: “I think ultimately the news outlets will prevail, because there is such a blatant violation of the First Amendment and this denial of access. The president said it's a privilege to be there, but in fact it is a First Amendment right, which is not just a right for the press, but for everybody who gets news from the press. And so I really hope and I believe that MS NOW, CNN, and Politico will pursue this issue, and I think ultimately they'll prevail.”
