MacFARLANE: “It really is. This is the thing. What unifies media is much larger than what divides media. They are there to have a chance to ask questions of newsmakers. That’s a fundamental thing. Everybody wants a piece of that. They all see the long game here. Tables turn in politics and in government. If we start banning people for viewpoints, we’re going to ban the next set of people for viewpoints. Everybody is up on the joke here. I’m going to be surprised if Trump fights the court ruling tooth and nail, because the court is sitting there with a chance to knock down this media ban. The media ban is starving him of his oxygen, which is media attention. I’m not sure how much he wants this ban to persist himself.”
