Peter Schweizer: Xi Jinping Needs a Solution on Iran Even More than Trump Does

SCHWEIZER: “But Xi is in a tsunami politically back in China, that does not get reported a lot. The Central Military Commission, which is the most important political military body in China, it's at the apex of the power pyramid. It has 7 members. Over the last two years, Xi has purged 5 of them for political disloyalty. The only two remaining members are Xi himself and the guy who's investigating the others. This is on top of more than 45 generals who have gone missing, who have not been found over the last couple of years. So there's a lot of political turmoil. He needs a solution to Iran, I would argue, even more than Trump.”
