Ingraham to Eric Schmitt Defending Iran War: ‘The Voters Are Not Buying This’

INGRAHAM: "Well, Senator, I mean, the voters are not buying this. I mean, Republicans know that, okay? They have been debilitated, I think, right, Iran has been debilitated, no doubt about it. They are suffering economically. But they are fanatics. It’s like someone trying to go into West Virginia and say, 'No, we’re going to institute a global international liberal order in West Virginia.' What do you think would happen in West Virginia? They would come out of the hills and take on whatever army and they would fight to the finish. That’s the mentality. I’m sorry, I’m comparing West Virginia to Iran. But you get a sense that they're committed. There is a core group of people committed, and it’s going to either take a massive attack, I think, that will kill a lot of people, or we're just going to have to say, 'We're done. Gulf region, you take care of it. We're going to focus on our own hemisphere.'"
