WELCH: "Yeah. No, no, you’re right. There’s some extreme views out there. And that’s true on both sides. The Democratic Party — there’s two things. One, the Democratic Party has to be anchored in affordability, on working class issues, everyday people. And it has to have a plan that’s beneficial to folks who work hard, whether they voted for Trump or they voted for Harris. That’s number one. Number two, the candidates bear the burden in each of the races, and every state is different, so the candidates have to build the confidence that they need in order to win. So we’ve got an opportunity.”
