El-Sayed Says He’d ‘Sit Down’ with Trump Just Like Zohran Mamdani if He Wins

EL-SAYED: “Well, this race has never been about me or my feelings. It’s always been about Michiganders and the fact that right now we have a politics that has allowed big corporations to buy off their politicians. They’re paying more for things like groceries and gas, and they can’t see a doctor in the richest, most powerful country in the world. So, I will sit down with anybody and everybody who I can to actually try to address those problems, and maybe even sit down with the president. Now, look, I’m not going to agree with him on much. You know, when it comes to the tariff policy with Canada, when it comes to the war with Iran, these are things that are raising those prices. But if I have the opportunity to share the perspective of the Michiganders that I represent and sit down with him to address these things, I absolutely will. That’s what people are electing you to do. So, yeah, I’ll sit with anyone.
