Scott Jennings: Candidates from Both Parties Are Going to Run on Issues in their Districts and Take Positions They Have to Take

JENNINGS: “ I think two things. One, she said the war should come to an immediate and successful end. And the difference between her and the Democrats is Democrats want to preach defeat. And actually, henson and the Republicans want to preach victory over Iran. So I think that‘s a key distinction. Number two, I think every candidate in both parties and every jurisdiction is going to run the race that they think they have to run to win in that jurisdiction. Some of the issues in Iowa are related to Iowa. They‘re agriculture related. They wouldn‘t be the same as an issue, say, in a in an urban, you know, congressional district. You know, so so I think every candidate in both parties are going to run on the issue set and take the positions they have to take. And if you‘re President Trump, you need not worry about any of this because the only thing that matters is that Republicans come back if Democrat majorities come back, we‘re going to lurch toward socialism. We‘re going to lurch toward impeachment. We‘re going to lurch toward all this chaos. But if Republicans come back, you can continue to try to improve the country. He shouldn‘t worry.”
