BENNETT: “Our plan builds on existing law, on the Affordable Care Act and other aspects of law that can be extended so that we can address all of these problems rather than trying to, you know, completely throw out the system and start fresh. The problem with some of the other proposals, including Medicare for All, is it would cost $40 trillion. And we just don't have that kind of money lying around. Our program does cost money, but it is something within the realm of the possible, and it could provide relief to people immediately.”
