CNN: Armed Person Lunges at Ohio Gov. Candidate, Injures Multiple People

PAZMINO: "Yeah, Omar, we‘re just trying to gather the details of what happened. But I can tell you that it happened at Canfield Fair in Ohio this afternoon. And we‘re told by the Acton campaign, as you said, that an armed individual allegedly lunged towards the candidate, Amy Acton, and injured several people at this event. Now, I want to get right to a campaign statement that we have from Acton saying, 'While attending the Canfield Fair, an armed individual lunged at Dr. Acton, injuring multiple people. Dr. Acton and Eric are grateful for the swift and decisive action of law enforcement and are praying for the recovery of those injured. Now, this happened in Mahoning County, and the sheriff there told CNN affiliate WFMJ that the suspect was apprehended. That person has been arrested and they are expected to be charged with two counts of assault and one count of disorderly conduct.”
