Sen. Kennedy Says He’s Confident That Republicans Can Hold the Texas Senate Seat: This Election Is Certainly Going To Be Different

KENNEDY: "I am confident. Look, those experts, kristen, that I talked about, you know, if you listen to them, they will all say Texas should be a fat guy layup for the Republicans. And I guess if you go back 25, 50 years, that may be true, but every election is different, and, boy, this election certainly is going to be different. And there is no sense of bubble wrapping, the election is close. We were being outspent. The attorney general was being outspent. A couple of weeks ago I asked President Trump to help us with his $800 million and he did. He put down 10 million yesterday and I believe more is coming. But it will be a close race. We have a race on our hands. But the economy is solid, but inflation sucks. And people are, when they lie down to sleep at night, moms and dads and can’t, they are worried about the cost of living. They are not especially happy about the war in Iran. And that’s on there. Mostly, they are just angry. I think that’s part of the problem with data centers t they are just pissed off."
