ROSE: "I think it is wildly irresponsible how we overprescribe, in my opinion, heavily overprescribed. Is not just my opinion, their psychiatrist doing taper projects to get people off meds. We overprescribe psych meds, we don’t look at the whole person, we don’t look at the deeper issues, we don’t look at the family system. I think that’s one of the reasons people are struggling so much with mental illness in this country. I am concerned about the broader narrative though, that has happened. That is taking the country by storm. That just puts all the empathy and sympathy on, ultimately, the aggressor and forgets the children. I’m deeply concerned about that. We live in a country, there are 1 million abortions every year in the name of women’s rights, what women want. I know that it’s different in this case, but it’s the same general theme.”
