Turley Rips Clancy Attorney’s Attack on Juror as ‘Reckless and Dangerous’

TURLEY: “I thought it was outrageous and reckless. I would not be surprised if Cruz sent a letter to the judge raising this attack on this holdout juror. That was, in my view, a remarkably dangerous thing that Reddington just did. In a society, in an age of rage, he went off on this juror and said that he had stolen the trial and that he had destroyed this otherwise pristine effort and he couldn’t understand why he did it. That juror’s name could very well come out with all these internet sleuths. He just put a target on him with those types of statements. And I’m sorry, I found it was really offensive. As lawyers, we have to try to reduce the rage. We have to remind people that those people within our legal system are doing a job, a sacred job.”
