NEC Director Hassett on Jobs Report: ‘This Blew Past Everybody’

HASSETT: "But this number was way, way better than I expected. And it wasn’t just me. We went back and looked, and 77 people posted their forecast at Bloomberg, and this blew past everybody. So, this — this number was above anybody’s forecast, and by a lot. It was four standard deviations above the mean. So it's a really blockbuster number."
