Dem Rep. Dean: ‘This Is an Administration out of Control, Un-American’

DEAN: “Take a look at what has happened around ICE immigration enforcement. More than a half a million people have been detained. I've visited many of these detention camps where children and adults and families are being abused. Thirty-five people died in ICE custody last year. Twenty-four have died in ICE custody so far this year. Eight people have been killed by ICE immigration officers. Some of them citizens. This is an administration out of control, un-American. And again, I want to say, along with the other things that you are covering, we must never normalize these things. This is not law enforcement. California has banned the use of these gloves. Nebraska is looking at it, too, after they've been used in schools there inappropriately.”
