Dem Rep. Jason Crow: Impeachment Is One of the Tools to Hold Sec. Hegseth Accountable

CROW: “I believe that Hegseth should be held accountable. And there’s a lot of different tools to do that. Impeachment is one of those tools. I know a lot about impeachment, by the way. I was an impeachment manager in the first impeachment trial. I prosecuted Donald Trump, sat on the floor of the United States Senate and warned those senators that Donald Trump is a threat to this nation, is a threat to the Constitution, and told them right to their face how this was going to play out. I didn’t want to be right. I wished that I wasn’t right, but I was absolutely right. We have seen it played out, so I won’t hesitate to use that tool. But there’s a lot of different tools to use, including subpoenas, oversight, holding folks accountable, bringing things to light.”
