BLITZER: “Let's talk a little bit about this Markey win over Seth Moulton. It was very decisive, what, about 65 percent to 35 percent? Did you expect it to be that much of a bombshell?”
CLARK: “It was certainly what the polls were showing throughout this race. And I think that as we are seeing across the country and happen in Massachusetts, people are looking for fighters. People are hurting, and they are looking for people who are speaking to what is happening to them. When we have so many families, over 60 percent of families unable to afford the basics, they are looking for people who are going to be their champions, and, in this race, they decided that was Senator Ed Markey.”
