Jesse Kelly: ‘The GOP Senate Wants Ken Paxton to Lose the Election So They Can Look at the GOP Primary Voter and Say “Don’t Ever Try that Again”’

‘If they could politically get away with it, they would be running ads for James Talarico’

EXCERPT:

J. KELLY: "You’ll see it, again, every TV commercial, every TV commercial break, there will be a James Tallarico ad not acting like the commie freak that he is, sitting with his pawpaw, talking about Jesus and groceries every single time. All right. So what is happening here? These senators, who have been luxuriating in D.C and feeling untouchable for a long time, finally got touched. And if you’re anybody, if you’re John Thune, Kennedy, Tim Scott, Curtis, McConnell — I know he’s retiring, but you get the drift — if you’re any one of these guys, you sat up in your chair when John Cornyn lost the primary and said to yourself, 'Oh, no, that could be me. Are we — are we not allowed to screw over our voters anymore? Are they going to actually possibly vote us out of office?' And so what you’re seeing is the Senate, this is their fight back. It’s not that the GOP Senate is okay with Ken Paxton losing. The GOP Senate wants Ken Paxton to lose the election so they can look at the GOP primary voter and say, 'See? Don’t ever try that again or this is what will happen.' The Republican senators, if they could politically get away with it, would be running ads for James Talarico and not Ken Paxton. That’s how bad they want Ken Paxton to lose the race, and that’s why."
