Woman Falsely Accused of Theft After Police Use Flock Cameras

PERINO: “There's a growing debate over the widespread use of flock cameras which now span across at least 6,000 cities in every state except Alaska. The company says there's more than 120,000 cameras nationwide. Among the critics, a Denver woman who was falsely accused of theft after allegedly being picked up by these cameras.”

OFFICER: “Well I already know where you were. I have it on camera. I have you on camera walking up, ringing the doorbell, taking the package and literally running away. You on camera doing this. It is 100%. It is locked in. There is zero doubt. I wouldn't have come here unless I was 100% sure. 100%. It is certain. It is on video. You're obviously welcome to go to court.”

PERINO: “And the officer claims she was captured on camera walking away with a package of someone else's porch in another town. But Chrisanna Elser argued her innocence and had the evidence to prove it.”
