Rebeccah Heinrichs: Some People Are Amplifying the Fact That We Are Running Low on Certain Kinds of Stockpiles of Certain Kinds of Munitions

HEINRICHS: "And I really think there’s a demoralizing campaign on the part of some individuals who never supported President Trump’s courageous decision to take out the Iranian military, and those people are trying to amplify the fact that we are running low on certain kinds of stockpiles of certain kinds of munitions. It is true that the United States has woefully underfunded and underinvested in certain kinds of weapon systems like missile defense interceptors or the sophisticated Tomahawk that are stand off weapons. Thankfully, Mark, those standoff Tomahawks are not the missiles that we need right now to take out and finally finish taking out the Iran regime. What we need are gravity bombs, the less sophisticated closer munitions, and we have plentiful of those. Last point on that: the Senate Armed Services Committee and the Armed Services Committee in the Congress has been working very diligently with Pete Hegseth's Pentagon to try to fight other contractors to quickly ramp up production of other munitions at scale to replenish the munitions that we have expended. So, lots of smart people working on this problem. It is a concern, but it should not alarm the American people for taking out and finishing this particular mission with the Iran regime."
