KRISHNAMOORTHI: “I think it signals that they know he’s going to be the speaker. And they know that he’s going to be somebody that they can’t, you know, kind of continue to roll over. They’re going to have to accord respect. And if they want any item on their legislative agenda to move forward, they’re going to have to work with him, and Democrats in the House, especially in the majority. They’re also going to have to contend with tremendous oversight and investigations that are about to happen, including probably with Mr. Kushner himself. And so, you know, I think that this is just A fact of life they’re have — they’re going to have to contend with given the state of affairs in this country and the elections coming up.”
