They don't know that he ended up having a period where he was a radical leftist. A lot of people don't know that in college, Clarence Thomas had a giant Afro and wore camouflage pants and combat boots and was protesting in Harvard Square and had Malcolm X on the wall. I mean, that's a different Clarence Thomas than Justice Thomas today."
