Cisco Aguilar: ‘There Are 26 Secretary Elections Across This Country’ as 2026 Becomes Critical to Election Security

The point that I wanted to make is as we enter the 2026 election cycle, secretaries on the front line of pushing back against this nonsense that’s coming out of this administration, we are here to ensure that every American who is registered to vote has access to the ballot box. We cannot continue to have this elections we are going to have unless we elect strong democratic secretaries of state. There are 26 secretary elections across this country 13 Democrats, 13 Republicans. We have majority of the battleground states, including Nevada. If I do not win this election in 26, or my colleague in Arizona, Adrian Fontes, or gilchrist running in Michigan or judge penny running in Georgia, we’re going to be in trouble for 28 because you’re seeing what they’re doing. An example of what they did two weeks ago by going on national TV, threatening to put us in prison if we didn’t comply with their wishes and their demands."
