Lydia Moynihan: Golf Courses Use 20 to 30 Times More Water than Data Center

‘This is a sort of data center derangement syndrome’

RUSH EXCERPT:

MOYNIHAN: “This is a sort of data center derangement syndrome. Mass hysteria on the left and the right pushing bang against it a lot of it is promised people don’t want it in their backyard. Consider the fact only 50% of people are opposed to nuclear power plant in their community. Almost 75% of people are opposed to data centers. And some of this is because of misinformation. There has been a lot of studies, super off base, you mentioned water as a concern people are worried it’s using too much water. Golf courses use 20 to 30 times more water. And you have to think about,y, obviously there is a natural cause. Who stands to benefit if the U.S. really tries to data center construction?”
