Byron Donalds Credits Florida’s Success to Common Sense Conservative Policies

DONALDS: "President Trump is beloved in the here in the great state of Florida, quite frankly, all around the country. And so if the president made a decision to come down, of course we would campaign together. But, Jake, this campaign is not about President Trump in Florida. It is about the future of our state, built around commonsense, conservative policies. That‘s why Florida is the number one state in all of America. And the question for our state and for our people is, do we want to continue down the same commonsense agenda, or do we want to reverse course and start looking like Virginia and New Jersey and New York? And I will tell you, Jake, the people of Florida do not want to be like those states. There‘s a reason why so many new Floridians left those states. It‘s because they want Florida. They want the Florida dream. And my job as the Republican nominee and the state's next governor is to protect that dream for everybody."
