MS NOW’s Peter Alexander: Latest Primary Results Show Donald Trump May Be Losing His Golden Touch with Republicans
EXCERPT:
ALEXANDER: “After posting a stellar track record of picking winners, still sitting comfortably in the high 90s, a series of new setbacks have some asking if President Trump is losing his golden touch with Republicans. New primary results just in show key races this fall are starting to flip from red to purple. We want to start in the last frontier, that's Alaska. And last night, the Senate race there is now officially a true toss-up. The Democrat, Mary Peltola, leads Trump-endorsed incumbent, Senator Dan Sullivan. The state's open primary system in the state will send the top four vote-getters to what is a ranked vote general election, regardless of party. And that could include a second Dan Sullivan. We've been talking about this. He's been dubbed Decoy Dan. But he told 'The New York Times' just this week that he is a serious candidate who's running because he wants to serve his state.”
