Portland Mom Banned from Child’s Graduation for Criticizing Gender Identity Curriculum

EXCERPT:

ROBERTS: “I’m a long-time Portlander. My kids have been going to Lewis Elementary for some time. When we started the school year this year, what was the pride flags or the rainbow flags that were on the benches last year had become the progressive flag this year. It was jarring to me, given the political climate we’re in, and I saw for what it was, a political symbol. When I pursued conversations with the school, as well as PTA, I was rebuffed or censored at every — at every turn. So I did what I thought was my only — my only avenue. I took things into my own hands, and I passed out a letter hoping to find sympathetic ears and like-minded people that maybe were being censored as well. So that’s — that’s kind of what started this, and then things escalated to the point that I got Liberty Justice involved.”
