Lisa Kennedy: If You’re Slightly Pro-Israel and Not an Anti-Zionist, Then the Things That Hasan Piker Says Should Be Very Concerning for You
RUSH EXCERPT:
KENNEDY: "Kennedy: that is their litmus test. So if the dsa is going to get behind you, that is the only thing they care about, and Scott Wiener found that out the hard way when he was trailed by a pro-Palestine mob and, you know, this is someone who has been pro lgbtqia plus that you would think voters would bend over in any direction he asks for their vote, but that is not the case. It is the only hill they are willing to die on because a lot of the economic stuff sounds good in theory it sounds good when it is promised but in practice it is an absolute disaster so they are going to have to pivot to anything they possibly can, and unfortunately the anti-Semitic stripe is a very popular flavor this summer on just about every facet of the political spectrum. And that is very, very unsettling. And that is why Hasan Piker endorsement for a lot of people, if you are even slightly pro-Israel, if you do not consider yourself an anti-zionist, then a lot of things that Hasan Piker says and does, they should be very concerning for you. So I don’t think his endorsement, and we will see how el-sayed does in the general election, because I think that is going to be more of a barometer than anything else for the dsa, and because he is the loudest voice in media, what his endorsement specifically means, but he might be, you know, he is up there saying Democrats, you need to defend me. What kind of a narcissist are you? But I do think that if el-sayed wins in Michigan, it will be the end of his political reach, but mainstream Democrats need to do a lot more than Kamala Harris, who now is running against herself again, in 2024 she had to run against Kamala Harris 2020, and now she is looking toward 2028, so she has to run against 2024. She is going to give voters whiplash. They already had a headache from her massive spending jag, so she didn’t have any traction, either."
