Wes Moore Says He Doesn’t Know What ‘Woke One’ Is

MOORE: "Well, I‘m going to be honest. I‘m not — I don‘t know what Woke 1.0 is, but I can tell you how I lead in Maryland, that we have made historic investments in our local law enforcement and also made historic investments in community violence interrupters that we have made sure that we‘re utilizing technologies. And if someone commits a violent crime, particularly with a firearm, we are going to have them in handcuffs in 24 hours. And I have made sure that people who are returning home from incarceration have a second chance at life, signed the largest mass pardon in the history of the United States of America for misdemeanor cannabis convictions. And now, in the past three and a half years in the state of Maryland, the violent crime rate is down nearly 60%. It is amongst the fastest drop in the United States of America. And so I tell people, you know, we don‘t govern on ideologies, we govern on results. And that‘s exactly what we‘re delivering."
