Secy. Scott Turner: We’re Coming After Every ‘Fraudster’ and Criminal Who Misuses Taxpayer’s Money

TURNER: "Yeah, Kayleigh, unfortunately, you know, Mr. Soofer, he used taxpayer dollars for his own gain. The name of his organization is called Abundant Blessing, but the only abundance went to him. $7 million house, $125,000 Range Rover, vacation home in Greece, flying private. It has nothing to do with helping our homeless neighbors. And so, you know, we are not only shining a light on this, but we're making people know, if you are a criminal, if you're using taxpayer money, if you are a fraudster, then no longer can you hide because we are coming after you. This is hard-earned, hardworking taxpayer dollars that are supposed to go to help our homeless neighbors around our country, help people get treated and transformed, families coming back together, people getting into housing and getting their jobs. But you know what? Criminals in our country for so long, prior to us coming in under President Trump, they’ve been allowed to get away with it. But as you can see now, that is no longer going to be the case."
