Victor Davis Hanson: Trump Is a Special Case in Presidential Security Needs

‘Four times they had to pull out their weapons at someone … they thought are going to shoot at Trump’

EXCERPT:

HANSON: “I think the reporters were hurt because they felt they were more essential to the security of the United States than the elected president. But Trump is a special case, Sean. He's the only president in U.S. history, which whom the security detail of the Secret Service on four occasions has exchanged shots with a would-be assassin, and that's never happened before. Four times they had to pull out their weapons and shoot at somebody trying to kill Trump, or at least thought he was trying to kill Trump. So he's a special case.”
