PAYNE: “I’m just saying that these folks, they embedded into young folks the idea that the system is so wrong. And the irony, of course, is, again, historically, if you go to college, you get a degree, you would do better than folks who went to high school. And still, somehow, the college degrees became the victims. Folks with college degrees became the folks that we were sympathetic to, that we should forgive a trillion dollars in loans. Sandra, this is the crazy part. So them staying away means nothing. You created this beast. You are responsible for this movement.”
