COBB: “But let’s keep in mind, the legal landscape right now for Blanche is that he has been ordered to provide, under oath, confirmation that the fund is dead, and he has refused. There’s nothing enforceable about what he told Congress, what he wrote to Congress, his alleged order. The agreement with the president and his family with regard to the slush fund and the IRS immunity is in writing, and it says that it can’t be altered without the written consent of all those people, so that there’s no legal force in effect to anything that Blanche did to give a fig leaf to Tillis and Cornyn so they could pretend to have had, you know, some display of courage, which they did not. I mean, all they did, frankly, was make it worse by accepting Blanche’s, you know, determination that he could immunize Trump from the previous IRS fines, penalties and deficits. So this money and the rest of the Treasury is not safe under this president. This president will loot the Treasury just like he’s looting the American people. Charging $100,000 a month to Wall Street firms for early access to his decision-making, unheard of. The Founders are spinning in their grave."
