Congressman Emmer on GOP Agenda Amid Midterms: It’s Frustrating When We Pass These Things and Nothing Happens on the Senate Side

EMMER: "Yes the midterms are looming large. But, we talk but that was in the house in the Senate look at what you pointed out. We have passed things that people said there was no way we could get done by starting at the beginning of Donald Trump’s term. With just a couple three, four extra votes every time but sometimes not even a margin we get it done before we left, think about will be got done we got the budget resolution done for 3.0. which is about election integrity is about funding our troops and making sure our intelligence is funded. We got the nd-we got the stock act done a bunch of huge heavy lifts in the last week that came out of the house and went out to the Senate you’re asked me too evaluate a body I am not in, that I have to work with. But it’s very frustrating when we pass these passed these thing nothing happens over on the Senate side. It drags and it drags I think clarity might be one of the best examples of digital assets built that was passed more than a year ago paid by the way it’s got six or seven years of institutional work in its on the house side it was passed more than a year ago with almost 100 Democrats and yet it still languishes over in the Senate they cannot seem to get it moved."
