MCCORMICK: “You know, when I was a soldier in the United States Army and we were we were standing up against and fighting the Soviet Union in the Cold War. I never dreamed when the Cold War ended that we'd be re-litigating and talking about communism and socialism as ideas that would be right for America. These ideas have been proven failures. They're in the dustbin of history. That is what this radical part of the Democratic Party is for. And the sad part is that it's not the it's not the extreme.
