GOP Sen. Tillis: Todd Blanche Deserves To Be Confirmed as AG

TILLIS: “I got to yes because Todd Blanche operated in good faith, exactly the same way he did to de-escalate and resolve the problem that I had with the president and Jay Powell. He's proven to me, he's a man of his word, that he is doing the hard work. This is a difficult administration to work in, but Todd has also made it very clear. I said in the hearing that I wanted to stick a fork in the 1776 fund. It's been rescinded. We did that. We've also got language now that we believe will only allow this to appropriately apply retrospectively and to a limited number of people with respect to audits. So I think he deserves confirmation. I'm encouraging my colleagues to vote for him.”
