JENNINGS: "Well, it‘s not a trick question, although none of those people individually are at the top of the party. They‘re members of the party and I think their opinions matter. And certainly even President Trump, who is at the top of the party, has expressed, at least privately to Miller, his opinion about this."
BERMAN: "But certainly not publicly."
JENNINGS: "Not publicly yet. It might be time to do it, to be honest. And maybe he will. And there‘s still a few days to go here, and we‘ll see how this unfolds. I know he remains defiant. But it was hard to — sort of hard to look at the details and hard to watch that interview with Jake and walk away from that going, 'Yeah, everything‘s going to turn out fine.' I think any reasonable person watching that knows that's not the case."
