TRUMP: “It’s on fire in a very positive way, and they’ve skyrocketed, exports, to the highest level in American history. Think of that, exports. Think of that. (applause) Think of what that means. Exports have gone to the highest level in history. That means somebody’s doing a good job because we didn’t — we didn’t have good exports two years ago, we didn’t have anything like that. We had — we were dead. the United States is on track to export unprecedented $2.5 trillion in goods this year alone, something everyone thought was impossible. Just — a number like that was not even thinkable. If I ever said it — I wouldn’t have even said it because even I didn’t think we could do that well. But we did.”
