SUNSHINE: "You know, it’s interesting, this has been my first time seeing the interview with the audience. And before the president even said what he said, I thought the exact same thing where he said, this only happens to people who are consequential. That’s funny, that was my first thought because it’s so true. You look at every American president who has had either unfortunately a successful assassination attempt or unsuccessful ones, Lincoln, JFK, Ronald Reagan, Donald J. Trump. In the weirdest way, it’s very good company to be in. But, you know, I really am impressed with the way that the president carries on every day, the resoluteness that he brings to the job, and it affirms for me how important his presidency is and why I want our Republican establishment to get on board and realize who we have at the helm and keep it goin’. We have a special guy. We've got to do good things for him."
