Cruz: When Democrats Come Back into Power, Actual Communists End up Being in Charge

CRUZ: "This is literally a communist takeover of the Democrat Party. Saying those words, that sounds extreme, but that is how they describe themselves, that they want to tear up the Constitution, they want to abolish the United States Senate. I’m not sure why he’s running for Senate, given that he wants to abolish it. They want to make the president report to the House of Representatives. They want to make the Supreme Court report to the House of Representatives, which means they want the politburo, which is what they want the House of Representatives to have all the power. If the Supreme Court reports to the House, you know what that means? You have no free speech rights, no religious liberty right, no Second Amendment because the politburo can take away your rights. And to be clear, these communists are explicit they are for seizing the means of production and putting the government in charge of every major corporation in the world. And Jesse, you know, there are some on the right who are celebrating and saying, 'Okay, these crazies are winning. That means we are going to go ahead and win in November.' Maybe. But I’m not celebrating lunatics taking over the Democrat Party because these are actual communists. And it’s not everyone in the Democrat Party, but the rest of the Democrats are terrified of these guys because this is where the energy is, this is where the money is, this is where the young people are. And eventually the Democrats are going to be back in power. It is unfortunate, I don’t want it to be the case, but history shows us the pendulum will swing the other way. And it is not good for America if actual communists end up being in charge. Look, New York is seeing that with comrade Mamdani right now, and this poison is spreading across the country."
