Mike Pence: In Some Respects Republicans Have Lost Their Way, But Democrats Have Lost Their Minds with Socialism

‘We have to offer a choice, not an echo’

EXCERPT:

PENCE: “The last time I was at this table, you know, a book came out in which I've stipulated that I think in some respects Republicans have lost their way, but Democrats have lost their minds. I mean, the fact that you have candidates, you know, in Michigan and New Jersey and elsewhere, and of course here in New York, a mayor that openly embraced socialism, openly embraced Marxism. The DSA's platform is a radical communist platform, shutting down the United States Senate, seizing private property. You know, I think Republicans, we have to offer a choice, not an echo. I've been concerned about a trend toward nationalization of American businesses that we've seen, price controls. I think now more than ever, Republicans would do well to articulate that clear, free market, limited government agenda that has defined our party for the last 50 years.”
