BESHEAR: “No, I think it’s fully transferable and I offer it anywhere and everywhere I go. And I typically preface it by, yes, I’m a person that has won statewide three straight times in a state Donald Trump won by 31 points. So, I think I’m living — I think I’m living, breathing proof the Democrats can fight anywhere and can win anywhere and should be fighting everywhere. I beat Mitch McConnell’s hand-picked candidate by five points a couple years ago. If anybody’s seen him, please let me know. Too soon? And I’ve now beaten Donald Trump’s endorsed candidates twice in two straight elections. And I increased my win margin from about 0.1 percent in ‘19 to five full points four years later when the state was moving in the other direction. So, I think it’s really about three things. Number one, I stand up for all my convictions. I have vetoed every anti-diversity bill that’s come to my desk, every anti-reproductive freedom bill that’s come to my desk, every anti-LGBTQ plus bill that’s come to my desk.”
