WALLACE: “So, I used to really recoil. I mean, you and I have both spent years now interviewing the brave law enforcement officials, people like Michael Fanone and Harry Dunn and Daniel Hodges and all the folks who put their bodies between Trump’s insurrectionist supporters and Republican and Democratic lawmakers. Those are the real heroes. And those are people who had the crimes carried out against them, exonerated and pardoned by Donald Trump. And now he wants to pay their attackers. It’s sick and it’s terrible politics for Trump.”
