HUCKABEE: “Lindsey was a remarkable person, a very dear friend. We have known each other for probably close to 30 years. He was in Israel many times, and especially since I’ve been here as ambassador. But when I would be coming over here bringing groups of people, I can’t tell you how many times I’D bump into Lindsey and John McCain and Joe Lieberman, or as Meghan McCain loves to call them, the Three Amigos. But Lindsey was a person who loved America. He loved foreign policy. He loved that America was a strong nation and wanted it to be strong and to be a leader in the world, not leading from behind, but leading from in front. And his death came as a shock to us all, but his memory is truly going to be a blessing to everyone who knew him.”
