CRAIG: “When I looked at the bill at the time, we had just allowed Donald Trump, who is an existential threat to this country, to come in, in part because voters' perception of America's open borders under the previous administration. As this Trump administration attacked our black and brown neighbors, it became absolutely clear that although they weren't using that bill in Operation Metro Surge, that any additional authority to the Trump administration was the wrong decision. And I've said that I regret it.”
